Job Title: QC Support

Position Summary:

QC Support will support the quality checks of job ticket information, variable data and specifications to ensure accuracy of mailing materials. Ensuring that all materials and information is clear and within the ticket once proof approval is completed and a new job ticket is printed if needed. Work in conjunction with all internal departments. Communicate and collaborate with CSR, Managers, supervisors, leads and sales to ensure the efficient flow of variable production work. Support the BD-CST team in data entry work as needed.

Principle Accountabilities

Review variable and inkjet proofs against original data, along with specs and information on job tickets. (Stock, Tags, Due Date)

Help identify issues on the production floor as they pertain or may impact Bolger Direct or customers from a quality and efficiency stand point.

Follow up with necessary personnel to assure appropriate action was taken and any issue is resolved.

Openly communicates with CSR from Como, BD management, supervisors and leads.

Responsible for sharing information and insuring proper team members are involved to hit customer expectations.

Support all department material items are available before job ticket is released to department’s to ensure success. (PO’s for paper, osv, materials, etc.)

Utilize EFI Monarch system tools. Ask for additional training as needed.

Follow production scheduled priorities to support BD to maximize on time delivery.
Reinforce and support all safety rules and guidelines.

Help and support effective and efficient assignments and responsibilities and expected levels for Bolger’s customers.

Attend all training related to OSHA, ISO 9001 and Bolger Direct certification compliancy training as it relates
to customer requirements.

Able to handle multiple projects/tasks at any given time and be able to prioritize as needed.

Attend events to maintain/enhance knowledge and understanding of digital technology and equipment.

Assist in implementing and identified opportunities to increase Bolger Value Add Revenue.

Keep Account Services Manager informed of any items and situations that requiring attention or action.

 Excellent computer experience and a good working knowledge of excel.

 Mail/postal knowledge is a plus.


High school diploma required. Prefer 1-2 years broad based background with experience in quality control,
print and/or mailing.

Possess good verbal and written communication skills, analytical and decision making
ability, and demonstrate his/her leadership skills.

Have a good understanding of Microsoft office (Excel and

Able to work autonomously, with little direction, and possess good organizational skills.
